President's Message

I hope you all enjoyed this past weekend at the show as much as I did. I cannot remember any event where the weather was so perfect. Not too hot and no rain as predicted.

Those of you that were there on Saturday evening heard the results, but a complete listing of the winners are posted on this site as well.
The boats, as they always are, were outstanding. I have had the opportunity to see many more shows recently, and I can tell you without being prejudiced, our boats would
stand up in quality anywhere. I encourage you to visit Woody Boater to see the nice write up we got and some great shots of the show and parade. We will be posting a complete gallery shortly. Please be on the lookout for an invitation to have dinner
with the LHACBS members July 24 on Miss Lotta and sign up for Lobster and
Steamer dinner on August 21 at the Yacht Club.

Hopefully you are planning a trip to Skaneateles in September for the annual meeting and you will be hearing very shortly about the quarterly meeting in Las Vegas early
in 2015. That trip is going to priced nicely so that you can attend a quarterly meeting
as well as having a fun time in Vegas with other ACBS members. Looking far into the future, the next quarterly meeting will be held in Mystic Seaport in of June 2015, the week after our show.

Have a great summer and we look forward to seeing you on Miss Lotta if not before
