KICK OFF THE  WOODY SEASON with the LHACBS

April 16th, 2008

Where:  A& M Restoration,   Gil Ave,   Rockaway, NJ

Time: 7:00 PM

Cost: Free   Refreshments will be served

PLANKS  to A & M Restoration we have got this evening nailed. And you are sure to be riveted and far from board.  Let’s cut to the chase…

You are invited to an evening of “Sawdust & Mahogany” … Or “It ain’t just another coat of varnish” that keeps these treasures afloat.

Experience first hand, a shop performing keel, batten, frame, chine, transom repair and replacement. See where the art of staining & varnishing occurs to achieve that show quality sheen.   See 5200 bottom replacement all in different stages of completion close up and personal.

Also A & M Restoration will have their chrome plater and metal repair person there also available for questions and answers.

So bring your question and wear comfortable clothes and prepare yourself for a relaxing, informative “sensory overload”

Lotta here:  If you heard about the kick off meeting last year and were fortunate enough to have been a part of “An Evening with Don Danenberg”,   camaraderie……knowledge……..sharing ………are a few words that describe the “magic” of that night. This will be inspiring as well.

Directions:  Route 80 East to Exit 37 for Rte. 513 toward Rockaway. Turn right at 513/Hibernia Av toward Rockaway  and  make first left onto Union St(across from gas station) . Make the first left onto Stickle Ave go over the railroad tracks  and follow for  approx. ½ mile to a left on Gill Ave.

RSVP by April 10th, 2008 PLEASE!     Chris Smith 973-383-0352 or MCSmith@ptd.net
